Growing up Heroes is kind of a cool idea…
It can be pretty nostalgic…Or it just makes you realize that your day job isn’t anywhere near the superhero job you thought you’d have and that everyone was a superhero and you’re not special. But I’ll let you decide, click the badass Batman and you can see for yourself.

Could I have found a better picture of Doughty and Doan? Probably, but I’ve been saving this from Friday’s paper to get us through work during Game 4 tomorrow, ignore the creases, it’s been traveling with me all day. Hopefully Doughty will keep his helmet on and Dwight King will keep killing it.
As for anyone planning on traveling to, through, or past downtown LA on Sunday….
DON’T. That is all.
Unless you love sitting in traffic, I suggest you watch the game from a nice big screen TV with a nice tasty beer in hand surrounded by a bunch of obnoxiously fun hockey fans. Avoid all this mumbo jumbo —
- Nissan’s Ride Before the Pro’s and the Amgen Tour of California both ending at the Staple’s center mid morning. Expecting around 30,000 fans along the route.
- 12pm Kings vs. Coyotes. Expecting 20,000 (awesome hockey) fans.
- Assuming the Kings & Coyotes go into no overtime whatsoever, then give or take about 2 hours to convert an ice rink into a basketball court and….
- Clippers vs. Spurs @ 7:30pm with another 20,000 fans or so.
Good luck Staples Center… should be fun.
